.22 Tactical Precision Rifle in IDAHO

Re: .22 Tactical Precision Rifle in IDAHO

yes, a single shot will work.

Last year we had 2 compete with single shot Anschutz rifles and they each did well.

The courses of fire are designed so single shots are competitive. Now if you show up with a smokepole that only shoots one at a time, you may have to hussle on some stages but you will still have fun.

Most of the stages right now are 10 shots in 3 minutes, period.
Your gun goes down, you gotta fix it and finish in 3 minutes.

If you are in Middleton, you are less than 30 minutes from the Parma Range.

Come on out and give it a go!

And if you can't find time to practice, still come on out and give it a go.

If you don't have DOPE out to 250 yards, I bring data for various .22 rounds that will get you on target.

Re: .22 Tactical Precision Rifle in IDAHO

What you guy using for a scope and mount to get out 250 yards?
Do you zero in at say 150 yards so you have enough click for 250?

Re: .22 Tactical Precision Rifle in IDAHO

You see all kinds of scopes and bases. What are you currently running?

Most seem to zero at 50 yards, but there are some with a 100 yard zero.

With match or any subsonic ammo (1080fps or so)you need 36moa up from a 50 yard zero.

With high velocity ammo (1250fps or so)you need 30moa up from a 50 yard zero.

Currently I only have a 1-4 trijicon. But I am very very interested in getting ready for this match.

Any recomendations would be great

Thank you
