223 AI build

Has anyone done a recent 223 AI build where the barrel they selected shot beyond expectations? If so, who's barrel, what twist and projectile combo did you use, how many groove, whose reamer.....the standard questions.

If the build was a lightweight hunter, all the better.

Just got back from the range with my 223ai. It's wearing a 1:8 Brux #3 at 21", and was smithed by Robert Snyder. I'm still developing loads for it, so take that for what it's worth.

I'm happy with the barrel thus far.

I know a LOT of people who tout the 1:8 3-groove Pacnor in their 223ai's.

Savage varmint factory barrel chambered for 223 AI. Shoots better than expected. Does that count? I can easily duplicate or surpass accuracy like the previous post.

i also have a Brux/Snyder .223 AI that i'm very happy with. at 500 meters, i can break clay peigeons with another .223 AI, but with the Brux/Snyder .223 AI, i can go back and break the broken pieces.

not it's best group, but the only one i have pics of
