.223 AI Bullet Advice

Gentlemen,

I have a .223 Ackley Improved rifle I purchased from another Hide member about a year ago. It has a Rock 1:8 twist barrel and to date I have used it strictly for target shooting and have had excellent results with 77 gr. Lapua scenars. I am thinking about taking it coyote hunting and wondered which hunting bullet you guys would recommend given the twist rate.

I prefer 80s to 75s in my 1:7 223AI, but both bullets are great for targets AND hunting.

Thanks...Anybody know where I can get my hands on some 75 gr. A-max bullets???

I use, exclusively, the 55 gr. VMax, in my 223Ackley; and I bet I have killed a lot more coyotes with it than the above recommendations. Downside, it's not a hide friendly bullet. BB
