223 AI small base die

Anybody make one?

I recently re barreled both of my AI's and brass that was fired in the other bbls will not chamber after FL sizing. Its all at the base.

I'd hate to have to scrap 500+ pcs of formed Lapua brass.

Yes, the bbls that I chambered (new ones) have no trouble with brass formed in them. Only the stuff formed in the old bbls that I didn't chamber.

Does it not chamber because of the web not being sized or the shoulder not being moved back? It's usually the latter.

Its the web. All due to the way the old bbls were chambered.

Take a reg 223 small base die and cut the shoulder off, then trim a little from the bottom, just make a Base die out of it, your brass will be spared. A guy on this site gave me the idea, and it saved of over 550 pieces of 7mm saum brass, a unicorn fart in present times.
