Gunsmithing .223 headspace gauge

Am in the process of installing a prefit RPR barrel chambared for .223 wylde. Can I use a .223 rem or 5.56 headspace gauge to measure my headspace? Or do I need a .223 wylde specific

Yes. Case datum is the same.
