.223 match ammo

My rifle is a rem 700 sps tactical in a bell and carlson m40 stock. I believe its a 1/9 twist. What kind of ammo shoots well out of these? I have a week long range trip soon that im stocking up for. I have some black hills 68 and 69 gr,prvi 69 gr,hornady 53 and 55 gr vmax,fiocchi 50 gr vmax,and usa ammo 55 gr vmax. What else should I be looking into?

All guns are different and require different ammo to work propertly (accuracy wise).

I make some pretty good handloads for my White Oak Service Rifle.

I have to tweek the match loads a bit to get them to shoot in my other AR and Bolt Gun.

I've of the opinion you should get a box of each of your options, try them in your gun and see what works, then go from there.

I have had great results with the BH 68gr heavy match (a hornady bullet I believe). That said, try anything loaded with Sierra Matchkings, something should shoot well.

I just ordered 2 boxes of Federal Match 68 gr,too bad this stuff is 31.99 a box

and Il pick up another box or two of BH SM

I haven't shot their match yet, but i've shot their Run N Gun 77gr SMKs and got about .7 MOA. Great ammo for the price.

Southwest..... And black hills are the best I found. Federal's match 223 never lived up to its 308 reputation for me especially for the cost.
