Hi.
loads for the ttsx 55gr bt? I can't find any reloading data on this... Could anyone who have reloaded these bullets please give me a hint in what c.o.a.l and powder weight to load with? I have a Tikka t3 with 1-8 twist and a 51 cm barrel.

Hope some one can help me, because here in Norway I can't find anyone who loads this!

Hello, in Norway. I'm no expert, but what I'd do [because I've done it before] is: use the data for the same weight bullet, back off 10% on the powder weight and "work up to Max" looking for signs of over pressure. Use the mag length COL[2.2 in my Hornady book] and experiment carefully. Just me. Saw you hangin out there, with no returns. I just bought 2ooo Barnes 55 grn. JHP, and of course, they're not in my Hornady book. Figured I could help. Good luck.

These loads out of Tikka T3 8x and Browning X Bolt 10x.The Browning absolutely adores them and spits death to 350m on big red NZ stags.Anyone who says you are under gunned with this ammo is both lying, never used them, and does not know what they are talking about. Speed loves Barnes.

Thanks guys!
The bullet is pretty long, would I get very high pressure due to the bullet being seated beneath the shoulder of the cartridge? I can not make the round longer than 57 mm, after that the bullet will touch the lands of the barrel. All the other bullets I've loaded have never been seated as deep as this, will it give me a problem?

No. Love BM2 because it meters so well. You can gently tap the case to settle it before putting this projectile in. It is long but you need to ramp up over 26gr before you get pressure signs.Seat to top cannelure and shoot. Get all the jump you need without worries of it fitting in the mag. We have a Browning WSSM using 62gr TSX and got caught by thinking it was like traditional seating.Would not chamber properly until ran seating to top.BM2 will get you the best performance figures of all comparable powders. God made this powder not Hodgdon.Use it extensively in 223 with 53gr Sierra for our goat tucker rifle out of the T3 using 26gr BM2.Enjoy. Autumn on its way here and stags mobbing up. The TSX are all loaded ready to play.
