just for giggles I thought I would see if I could load some 69 SMK subs that would be accurate enough to actually hit something with,
CZ 527V 9 twist 223
loading `06 LC brass
CCI 400 primers and Bluedot powder
69 SMK bullets
started at 12.5 grs and was over 2,000 fps just shooting over chronie,,took several step downs to get under 1125 and finally settled in nicely at 1060 average and the fastest with this load was 1,071 so no worries about spiking above the barrier,,dont really know how much accuracy to expect from subs but this load will put 5 rounds on target at 100 yards under 1.5 inches but wont get close to an inch,,
sure no trouble picking the bullet up in flight about 40-50 yards and watchin it hit paper at 100,,purt dang quiet load without a can,,I imagine it would be undectable with a can,,
