Looking into purchasing a barrel for my AR to use in service rifle matches. I would like to shoot heavier bullets through it and was wondering if anyone had recommendations? Will a 1 in 8 twist stabilize a 69 gr bullet or will I have to go with a 1 in 7? Has anyone tried a Wilde chambering?
Just looking for some advice.
Thanks much

1:8 twist can handle up to 80 grain.. 80 gr is a single feed bullet if you dont mind going that route then go with 1:7.7

Go with the 7.7 twist and shoot the 77 SMK at mag length for 2/3 and 80 Berger for 6. The Wylde chamber will work well.
