I’m guessing you’re using 77’s with 8208?
23-24 is a very well known load and I use same year LC brass.
Because I rarely shoot it past 600-700 yards with it I’m not very particular on ES/SD with that load.
My SD is something like 12-14ish and vertical is not a big issue.

I just found a powder charge that provided good accuracy and played with seating depth slightly while maintaining mag feed length.

I was getting from 18-37 on the standard dev. 77 SMK Lapua Brass 450 CCI primer 23.2-23.8 grain 8208 in .2 grain jumps. My 100 yard groups where getting horizontal dev but my vertical was fine. My 23.8 group went left to right all touching side by side with not vertical dev. I was shooting suppressed with out my cover. I think this is what cause my horizontal. I shot the 23.4 load at 300 and shot approx a 3/4 inch group. I am think about setting up the same load and using the CCI 400 primers to see if it helps the standard devs.
