I have a 223 Wylde 1 in 8 barrel comming for my bolt gun. Plan to try Varget and H4895 with 70-80 grain bullets. Am I going to find the best nodes at the higher pressures? What bullets seem to work best? How much jump if any?

I have a 223 Wylde, 26" w/TBU7 suppress, 8 twist, running 75gn ELD-M's at 3015fps SD around 9. Worked a ladder of H4895 found a node at 23.5gn, seated .0025" off the lands...no pressure.

There is an entire 223 loads/info thread in the reloading depot subforum that answers all the questions you just asked. It has powder/bullet combo info/loads for pretty much any bullet and powder you can ask for...

24-25.5gr Varget or 23.5-25gr 8208XBR with all manner of 80-class bullets loaded between 2.35-2.50" COAL.
