i've been wanting to try one of these little guns, but the 308 version is the most popular and not many review on the 223. i know it is a 20" barel with 3 large flutes 1 in 9 twist with h&s stock. any one with one im interested to here how they shoot and how heavy of bullets they will stabalize

I sold my .308 LTR, but still have the .223 LTR. I mainly shoot a handloaded 69 SMK. The very best group I've ever got was .435" at 200yds. But I'd say my average is around .4-.6" at 100yds. For some reason, the LTR rifles have shot better than the AAC-SD and the .223 Tactical I've had and on par with the 5Rs and 700P that I've had. Who knows, maybe I was lucky with the LTR rifles.

I've had several over the years and they all shoot good. Shop around and they can be had for a fair price. There's a couple dealers that have them with 40x triggers verses the X-Mark.
