1 WEEK LEFT: This Target Haunts Me Contest
Tell us about the one that got away, the flier that ruined your group, the zero that drifted, the shot you still see when you close your eyes. Winner will receive a free scope!
What have all of you found is the proper BC to use for the Federal GM 90 SMK bullets? I am hearing many different numbers and thought I would ask the experts!
Thanks
Sorry I didn't see this sooner. I started out using Sierra's banded data on JBM when shooting out to 1000 and found that I was hitting low so I moved over to Litz's data which is .257g7 and found that I was just a bit high... aside from those observations I haven't spent enough time shooting them at distance to give you an exact number but somewhere around .265g7 should get you real close.
I'm curious as to what bullet is used in the American Eagle 75gr load and what it's BC is aswell. They have that stuff on sale at my LGS for 7.99$ a box. Crazy. I think I'm gonna have to get me a 224 valkyrie if they can iron out the kinks. Reloading would be awesome.
