Just got my new 22GT barrel from Preferred Barrels. Extremely impressed with the machine work, fit and finish. Looking for any input on a starting load using 88 ELDS, 6.5 Staball, CCI450's, and Alpha 22GT brass. Right now I am looking at 36gr for break-in loads. Thanks!

Starting this thread as there is no real data for the 22GT out of there. This will be a culmination of my data and hopefully others data that way we can have sort of a reference of powder choices and charge weights with given bullets, twist rates that work, etc. This being said I am working...

4166 pressured out 80 fps sooner than H4350 in my 6gt. I'm sure it'd work in the 22gt with light bullets. Its similar to varget. 4451 would be a better choice in the 22gt.
Just an update, I settled on 37.2 gr of Staball, giving me 3115fps with 88 ELDs, SDs are around 5-6 fps, .3MOA or better groups. 36.4 was not enough case fill as I was seeing some velocity swings and some carbon on a few case rims. After bumping up to 37.2 that all went away and it really settled in. Shot 2 matches over the weekend and it's an absolute laser beam. Stretched it out to over 1k on one stage and hit on my second shot after adjusting for a little more wind. Had double tap hits at 660 and 830 in the same stage as well, dope was spot on at all distances. I am so impressed by this round I just ordered a 2nd barrel to have on hand.
