I like CCI standard velocity. It is not plated but works well if your barrel is not short enough to keep other ammo subsonic. I have not had much luck with Remington subsonic.

Eley Teenex ammo, downgraded batches. .22 should be match grade (ELEY superior?!?) use a chronograph. Eley´s are thoroughly marked with velocity. TRY a few boxes find out what speeds, std dev etc with YOUR rifle (twist, length of b etc)
Shoot paper. test and test again. Buy the batch and lot working the best in quantities...
