24" remington 700 barrel question

I know of two different ADL configurations that are out there right now (well, 3 if you count stainless steel) - sporter weight (both blue and SS) and varmint weight (I've only seen blue on those.) I've got 2 of the ADLs in SS with sporter weight barrels, one in .223 and one in .308. The .223 is a 12 twist, so it's kind of limited in bullet weight. The .308 is a 10 twist. Mine both shoot under an inch with many different loads after I replaced the stocks. Light barrels do heat up fairly fast, so it probably isn't going to be your next F class rig, but accuracy is excellent. I've read the same of the varmint weight ADLs - although I understand that on the .308 varmint weight ADL it is a 1 in 12 twist.

Essentially it seems like Remington has taken an SPS of some sort and ditched the floor plate and called it an ADL. Same top, different bottom.
