What are you guys getting on velocities and barrel length?
I've been working up and finally found a good load for .243, and have good results with 42.0gr H4350, pretty close to max. I'm getting avg 2976 out of an 18.5" barrel with zero pressure signs. It will be shot suppressed 90% of the time so that puts velocity around 3000-3020 fps.
Everywhere I've read, this seems pretty high. Anyone got any thoughts?
