My roommate just go a vintage Sako. He has been trying the lighter weight bullets? But wants to try some long range stuff? It is a 10 twist barrel.

I've got a friend that shoots a Sako with a 1:10 twist and he was able to find an accurate load with 95gr Berger VLDs. It seemed a little temperature sensitive if I remember. I think he was using IMR 7828sc. Once he found the load, he was taking it out to 800-900yds.

Probably going to have the best results with no heavier than 100gr. Should try 85-87gr flying fast.

Check 87 vmax and H4350 or Rel 17. Should be in the 3100-3200fps neighborhood at ~42gn
