im getting ready to load 243 for the first time.im going to use 105 amax and was told to try h1000.has anyone else used this mix and have an opinion on magnum primers
I ran this combo with 45 grains and standard primers and liked what I saw. I loaded up another batch with some old mag primers and got ok results. Im going to load up another batch with new mag primers and work up from 45 grains and see how it goes.
I have tried loads from 43gr up to 47gr with standard primers. Best results for me have were with 43gr. Have only shot it to 600 yrds so far but am pleased with the load.
