For .260 Remington, the go to powder is H4350.
What has the go to powder been for a .243 Winchester?

I've am having good luck with IMR 4350 and 95gr. Berger Classic Hunter bullets in my Win 70 featherweight. This is the only powder I've tried, but it works very well.

H4350 is pretty much the go to for .243 as well for the 105-115 class bullets. I've ran H1000 to and it works pretty well but you need a longer barrel like 26" or more for it to work well.

These were all 100 gr 40 gr 4895.
The necked down 308 brass sometimes pinches the bullet.

At least you recognized the pressure signs at the end. :) I have worked up loads for the 115 DTAC with 4350 and RL22, and RL22 edges out the 4350 for accuracy...in my rifle.

I was just going to ask this. So h4350 or rl22 then for the 115 Dtacs? I bought some cooper creek 115 Dtacs box says 2975 I think. I just started shooting my .243. It one holes with the cooper creek.

That last primer pocket reminds me of a girl I met outside Ft Leonard Wood........

Back on topic. I've had good luck with H4350 in the 243 as well.

105's work well with H4350, H1000, and Retumbo. I shot 105's with H1000 with 26" barrel, and speed was 3000 avg. Chopped the barrel to 21" and speed was 2885 avg. Shot the same, just a little slower.

Remington 700 factory barrel varmint. I had planned on shooting the hornady 105g bthp as barrel is a 9.125 twist. Been rainy weather so havnt had a chance to do any load development yet.
