Currently building a 25-06 700 bolt gun. My barrel is Krieger #5 heavy sporter 1 in 9".
Barrel is .700"......what thread should I put on end for suppressor? 1/2" or 5/8ths?
Barrel length?....I was thinking 25 or less. To be used for 0-400 chucks, yotes, hogs. My 1st bolt build. Thanks in advance!

The #5 tapers at .010 per inch. So your 25” barrel would have a .710” muzzle, 24” would be .720”, etc. .720 is generally considered a minimum for a 5/8-24 thread. I’d be inclined to do the 5/8” thread, so shorten the barrel accordingly.
