Yes i shot a 242 pound 11 point with my thompson encore in 25-06 using the ct 115 gr ballistic silver tip the bullet went in right behind the front shoulder with no exit wound and the deer ran about 50 yards and fell dead and i never found a drop of blood i was not very happy that there was no blood but the bullet did its job i would say that it would depend on the size of the deer herd where you hunt needless to say i am shooting a encore in 30-06 now but i would not hesitate to use the 25-06 again

ran them in 257wby wrecked shit, little faster than 06 but sure it wont make difference...

I am trying to replace the non exiting 130g sgk that I am running in a 270win. Need these big whitetails to leak out both ribs. Last year I didn't recover a big WT until the next day. NOT ACCEPTABLE.
