Got the call, " I need the rock chucks gone". So I took my 6.5x47Lapua and my 223 Rem, both suppressed and put a hurting on them.
Saturday, I took my friend and let her get her first kill in. Used the 6.5X47 Lapua with a 100 grain BT at about 230 yards to shove this guy back into his hole!

I then went back Sunday and shot 21 with the 6.5X47L and 4 with the 223 Remington. 6.5 in the top picture, 223 in the bottom.

Oooh looks like fun, haven't done that since I lived in Idaho. We used to use a 54 cal muzzle loader and aim an inch low on the lava rock that they were laying on top of to see how high they would fly. Death by lava rock.

We have a serious groundhog problem around my way. Mainly because my garden has lots a nice stuff in it, but also bean fields,etc.nearby. I've got every bit of 4 months to wait for the Tbac to approve, but until then, I just find theyre holes ( in the woods ) and cram small connabear traps in them. They hunt 24/7... Unlike me.... and the hogs have absolutely no choice but get hung in them.
My garden looks great year round!
