25x47 Lapua

I have really been enjoying this cartridge so I thought I would share my findings.

26" Benchmark 1-7"
lapua brass
CCI 450
40.25 gr. H4350
Berger 133
2890 Ave. Velocity.

I have experimented with 6.5 staball and with 41.5 grains i have reached velocities of 2960 fps. I cannot get this powder to behave consistently. I wish I could because it would be awesome.

I’ve also been really enjoying this cartridge.

Terminus Zeus
27” crb 1:7.5 twist
Lapua brass
Br4’s
38.9gr rl16 at 2780fps,
35.9gr of varget at 2775fps

I’ve tested 3 diffeeent powders, 2 different bullets and my buddy tested a 4th powder and everything seemed to show a node between 2760-2790. There was area’s lower and higher but every combo shown something here.

Run it up to 2940fps and as low as 2650fps

Have you found that you have to alter the BC of the bergers?

No for me they’ve been pretty darn good!
