Picked up a couple boxes of these recently...but I haven't had time to load some up and go to the range. Curious if anybody has been using these, and if so, what kind of performance they've seen.

Thanks...

Re: 260 Rem and 123gr A-Max?

i use them for my go to load, Out of a 700 with a 26 inch Lilja 1in9

Win 7mm-08 case necked down
fed 210
42.0g of h4350
123amax
coal 2.820
Velocity is 2830
They shoot under MOA at 100 but i don't really shoot 100 yards much anymore. Shot a 4 shot 3.8in group at 710 yards in the wind. Im reasonably happy with them. Im sure they can be made more accurate but i just load and shoot.

Re: 260 Rem and 123gr A-Max?

I used them a couple weeks back in a 1000 yard comp. I was shooting a light load in my 6.5x55, easily achievable in a 260. I was running them at 2700 fps. They shot great out to 1000. I believe the BC is around .480-.490. You should be able to push them quite a bit faster than 2700.

Necro response but @ 44gr 4350 in my 22 1/8.5 is averaging 2870fps. I was able to bump it to 45gr and 2953fps ave. but started to get some sticky bolt.

Since the thread got bumped...

I've settled on 39.3gr Varget with the 123 A-Max. Leaving a little velocity on the table vs. 4831SC, RL17 or H4350 (I get 2930fps from my 26" barrel) but accuracy is excellent and the load is quite easy on brass.

I've taken a liking to 130gr VLDs, however...
