Anybody running compressed loads using H4831 or H4831sc for 260 Rem with 140 or 142? What are you using that works. Mine has a 29" barrel with the so-called Ft. Bragg cambering. 142 FGMM is getting super nice groups @2850. Reload COAL is 2.891 with 142 SMK.

46.5 H4831 SC, 142 SMK, 2890. Very accurate in my gun also, 136 scenar L 46.8 H4831 SC just under 2920 but great accuracy. I have shot BR-2's and 210's with little change in accuracy or speed. No pressure signs of any kind. I like 4831 in a 260 with 136 up. My barrel is 28" so speeds are up a tad.

My 24" obermeyer barrel throated for 140's runs well on 47grains of H4831sc, 2790fps in Lapua brass using 139 Scenars.

I never tried it in my 260. In my new 260ai it was supposed to be THE powder. I got to 50gr and didnt top out on pressure or get over 2900fps. I went back to H4350 and 44.6gr hit the node at 2920fps and pressure signs were are 45. Not exactly what you asked for but another reference to draw info from

Thanks, this chamber likes factory COAL. Just using minimum load of 45 grains is 2750 fps at .3 moa. I was loading to lands and getting pressures. Now I can go up for the extra speed.
