barrel choice i am building a 264 looking at 18" bull barrel the walther- black hole- or dtech shilen any complaints on these choices from some of you who may have one. or any down falls ?

Baer would be hard to beat IMHO.

looked at the bear they will not sell just the barrel and cant get 18" this was my 1st choice

Well, that sucks as Baer lists just the barrel.

Buddy has a Satern barrel on his 6.5G and it is a hammer. 264 LBC and 6.5G are peas in pod for brass dimensions, freebore dimensions are different.

Let me rephrase that you can get barrel they will no flute or thread i don't want to ship it all over to get things done but i might have to

Satern will flute and thread muzzle per your specs.
Downside is trying to get somebody on the phone @ Satern.

Worth an e-mail to them on barrel, pretty sure they even had a fluted 6.5G barrel in stock.

I just talked to Bear yesterday. I E-mailed them and they said they would sell just the barrel, and just the BCG if you want. They only gave me a 20 and a 24" option though.

Yote, very pleased with my mid-lenght 18 inch barrel from black Hole Weaponry, got a bolt from them as well and she shoots lights out, plus the price was good. There are a few others out there selling them but the price is a little more and options not as readily available.
