Wondering if anyone can help me figure out what the twist rate on a remington 700 made back in 1965 chambered in 264 WM would have for a twist rate. Either someone who has one from the time or can point me in the direction of some information would be greatly appriciated. Thanks

1:9 according to several old loading manuals & web info... you could measure it using the cleaning rod method if you wanted to be certain.

Thanks for the info guys looks like 1 in 9, I do not have the rifle available to measure it or that would have been my first option. Looking at buying and needed to check to see if it would stabilize the 140 bergers if I decided to buy it. Most all of the web info I could find was on the newer versions but I must not have explored all options. Thanks again.
