Hey guys, i just got a new to me winchester model 70 270 short mag (made in new haven, ct before they moved. Who all is shooting this caliber?

I do. Mine is in a browning a bolt. Trying to figure out where to get it re barreled. Love the caliber. It's a hammer on big pigs and mule deer.

I shoot one also. I use it as my carry deer rifle. I think when i burn up my 7mag barrel on my savage im going to get a 1-9 twist 270wsm barrel to shoot the matrix and berger heavy bullets.
