Try to gather as many opinions as possible. I will be loading my own ammo, either 140gr accubonds, bergers, or a wildcat cat bullet when they are up and running again. Anyway, im wondering if a 270wsm is adequate for elk out to 800yrds, and targets to a 1000yrds? Im getting new stock and barrel and was considering re-barreling to a 300wsm. Would it be worth it or should i just shoot the 270wsm? Thanks

Tough finding brass isnt it? What noticeable difference is there between 270wsm 7wsm i would think not much other than a bigger bullet, but im far from an expert.
