280 AI twist

What twist rate for the 280 AI? Shooting 140 TTSX and 180 bergers thru a 28 inch tube.

A true 1:9 would do it. 8.5 if you want room to grow.

My .280AI is a 1-9 Bartlein 5R

Brux 1-9" here, though I shoot the 162 A-Max. The 180's should be fine from a 28".

I shoot a 1/8 with 180s. With a cut rifled barrel I would feel fine with a 1/9 but no slower

I am runnin the 140-150's out of a 9 twist. its doin pretty well

Mine is a 26" 1-9 twist Rock .
