Don’t knock them till you try them. My $300 PSA shoots as good if not better than my $1,500 M&P15T yeah I know I got screwed I bought it after Obama first got elected.......live and learn....lol

At black powder and BPCR matches we have a mantra: If a shot doesn't hit the target, it is almost always the shooter's fault, not the gun. The addition of a few more parts and change in propellant does not change that mantra. I've done enough shooting in both camps to know that from experience...

I used one of their cheap stainless barrels. It's a 1 moa shooter with cheap varmint loads of mixed brass, z-max's, and h335 fed though the Dillon quickly. Impressed me for an $80 barrel.

Not that I would expect that normally, but I would say they have average factory grade barrels.

This may be my last gun purchase.

My cabinets are overpopulated, and the potential next rifle, the CMP 308 Special M1 Garand is very expensive. It's also a selfish indulgence while my family is going through some important changes. The money is better retained for such expenses.

I'm 73, I've bought enough guns and ammo.

Meanwhile, with the events unfolding across the Nation, seven Uppers and two Lowers essentially means that only two of them could be employed at any one time. That needs to be more.

There also needs to be less. There are a bunch of rifles I'll likely not be using much, if at all, in the remaining time allotted me. The family could use them; and it's time to make them their rifles. All of my rifles have been upgraded and load developed. The family is the best recipient of them.

Meanwhile, I've got several major projects that have been put on hold due to health nd weather issues; and that backlog could keep me busy for up to the whole next year. No need to add more right now, maybe ever.

No special reason, it's just an idea whose time has arrived.

Not for long in California LoL

I hate this state's laws. Wtf.

    I feel ya'...

That state is a textbook example of seizing failure from the jaws of success. Now with high summer here, I cannot help but think that the combination of heat+humidity, tent cities rife with abhorrent sanitation, rubbish piles, rats, fleas, used needles and human excrement are fostering some interesting and alarming microbiology on those streets.

    Stay safe out there man.

Thanks, Brother. Only 6 work days left until I switch careers. Counting the seconds LOL.

Still have gray in stock. Guess it's not cool enough

If the handguard on the $449.99 model featured in your original post came in gray, I bet there will be a lot more takers. Those sci-fi style horizontal vents add serious business attitude to the whole thing.
