Just purchased a barrel in this round, 280 RCBS, and the dies say 280 improved 30 deg.
The barrel was a shouldered fit from previous rifle but when I install it, I want to verify with gages. I haven't seen much info on this as everything comes up as 280AI (40deg). Or probably find a smith to do it.
I was also told by previous owner I can shoot 280Rem factory ammo to fire form.
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
