I am considering a 7mm 284 win or shehane for my Tikka. It is set up as a long action right now so I can seat the rounds long.
When looking at load data for cx160 and 168 LRX, the speeds seem quite a bit lower than even 180gr non copper.
Anyone here running either of these two bullets at 2800 or higher?

I only tried one load in my 284 Win Tikka with the 168 LRX. At 2.490" CBTO, 50.5 gr H4350 gave me 2770 fps (24" barrel), but got heavy extractor marks. I was getting 80 fps faster and no pressure signs with the 168 ABLR so I gave up on the LRXs. The ABLRs worked great on elk this season, so zero regrets.
