According to the sako.fi websight the trg 22 has a .299/3075 barrel. Is this considered the standard for 308? How much velocity will this gain? Will reloading be any different do to the tighter bore?

Re: .299/.3075 normal or tight bore

I don't think that's much tighter than the standard .300/.308. Palma caliber is more like .298/.3065 or .0370.

You may get a few more FPS but there is nothing to change in your load development process. Standard checking still applies.

With what bullets?

Re: .299/.3075 normal or tight bore

.300"/.3080" is standard. Krieger offers 3 different tighter groove diamaters and one tighter bore diameter (.298") for their Palma barrels.

Yours listed is less than .300"/.3080", therefore considered a tight bore and groove barrel.

To answer your other questions, don't expect any magical velocity gains nor special reloading tricks with the rifle.
