I found a Bartlein barrel for a 300WM build I'm putting together. I know GA Precision normally uses the tight 299 bore on their 308Win builds. Are there any issues with the tight bore with 300WM like higher pressures, jacket seperation, etc.?
I was told by Frank Green that it will be fine.. I just sent all my parts out to the smith that I chose and one of the parts was a Bartlein MTU .299 / .308
Palma shooters normally shoot with barrels that have a .298 bore and a .3075 groove. They are shooting a 308Win usually with 155 grain bullets at 2950 or faster. Tight bores generally have no ill affects as long as things are done properly.

you could do this, just going to change your bolt face.
