Ok i have pretty much figured out which way im gona go with my Remington 700 build but need some help on which contour to get the barrel in. I want to replace the barrel and have the action blueprinted and trued when i get the new barrel looking for a nice 400 to 500 yard accurate rifle In 30 06 again.

My Rem./HS Precision .300 win mag barrel is a grooved straight contour HS barrel.

I am building an .06 right now too, I went with a M24 Rock Creek barrel from bugholes. I am going to chop mine down to 22 inches and thread it for my can. Now I can't decide on which stock I want, an AI,McM, Manners T4 or a Choate tactical ( I know I know) to save some money....
Im looking at an ER shaw 30 06 with a heavy varmint contour and im going with the Choate tactical stock
