I've got one that my grandpa gave me. It was his deer rifle for years. Not to bad of a shot either

Got two, a Winchester 1895 in .30/40 (my grandfather's deer rifle) and an 1898.
The Winchester isn't a bad heavy brush gun...it's light and shoulders quickly.
The 1898's action is very smooth and it's still accurate (about 1.5 inch groups at 100 yds).
Both are fun to shoot, but spend most of their time in the safe.
