I haven't been able to find any threads on the 300 blackout on here. Quite surprising actually. I built my first one last year and i built my SBR this year. Now that I have my can I have mainly been shooting them subsonic. Which is a whole new ball game on the hog hunting around here.

If anyone needs any subsonic load data, or supersonic data, let me know. I've got several loads worked up for the 300 blackout.

Is anyone else here shooting the 300blk? It's about all I shoot these days, unless I'm shooting my 308 subs!

I would like to see both the data for the 300 and 308. I am currently working on the same.

I'll get that load data posted tonight when I get home.

There is plenty of info on the 300 blackout forum on loads

and yes there is lots of info on the 300blk forum. Just wanted to post some info on here! nice to have it all in one spot! Here is the link for those that are interested.

Plenty of info around for semi rigs, a bit less for bolts.

I shoot a lot through a bolt rifle, and a bit through a SBR with a 10 inch barrel.

Getting great results here for plinking, pests, and close up deer!

Herdthinner: for the 308 use trail boss. It makes subs very easy and safe. Use a 150-220 grain bullet depending on your twist. Try some 180 round noses, start at 11.0g trail boss and work down till you get where you want to be.

For my whisper bolt rifle: Typical aa1680 and 220 loads work, but Little gun works better with bullets up to 250g. If I want to be extra cheap and quiet it is tough to beat 4.5g red dot and a 150g cast bullet.

Plenty of good info on the 300BlkTalk page but I will throw up some info on what I loaded. All shot out of an AR with 8" barrel no idea on gas port size. It was a windy day and which is why I think there were some strange fluctuations in the velocity groupings.

Running 10.8 AA1680 with 208 Amax. No velocity data but this is a very quiet load (more so than even Hornady factory subs) and bangs the small poppers at 100 yards well. Plus, it functions 100% in my 10.2 Noveske upper using the standard 5.56 buffer and spring.

I would like to see both the data for the 300 and 308. I am currently working on the same.

Same here. Looking to see what will give me better terminal performance on deer and hogs. Single Shot Encore Pistol Suppressed.

I just started a thread in the "External Ballistics" section before I saw this thread.
