300 Blackout and 110gr RN

Re: 300 Blackout and 110gr RN

Yes. When I built my first Blackout(300 Fireball then) several years ago I loaded up some 110gr carbine bullets. They were pretty damn accurate as I recall and fast. I do not remember what the load was but it is possible I could look it up in my notes. There is plenty of data on the net for 110gr pills. Google 300 fireball and Whisper and I am sure you will find all the info you need.

Do you recall what brand you used?

Re: 300 Blackout and 110gr RN

Hornady I believe but brand shouldn't matter. Any of the carbine bullets should work fine. You can usually find them pretty cheap. Stay away from plated bullets like Berry's they will foul the hell out of your bore, not made for those kinds of velocities.

Re: 300 Blackout and 110gr RN

I've been playing with them for plinking loads in my .308 so I see no reason they won't work for the .300 blk. i'd look for load data for similar sized cartridge and work up down from there. I would think powder in the lil gun-4198 range would probably work best.
