Rifle Scopes .300 BLK optics?

I used a SWFA 1-4x24 Tactical w/Circle Dot when I had a 300 BLK. The scope matched the capability of the cartridge quite well.

But really any of the 1-4's or 1-6's would work well for a round that max's out at around 500 yds. It's pointless to use anything bigger really.

It really depends on what you plan to use it for. All my AR's have had either 1-4x scopes or an Aimpoint. I think a 1-4x scope will give you the most versatility but I'm still kinda partial to the lightweight, simple approach of an Aimpoint micro.

I currently use a Trijicon 1-4 on my 300AAC. It's nice and light, just like my Wilson Combat firearm. I plan to replace it with the Browe 1-4 or the Leupold 1.5-5 both with the 300AAC reticles once I finally get ahold of my BEAST. The Browe is one heavy duty bad mofo. Look into it.

I took a different route on this one. I own some good glass but figured I would try something different on my SBR. I went with a Nikon P-300BLK 2-7x32. I shoot only subs and have found that for me, this round has reached its limitations at 100 yards. All the areas that I have hunted are set up by feeders, inside ~50 yards. I also use a hog light so I didn't see the need for an illuminated reticle. It has a BDC reticle in it and I have found it is pretty accurate for my use. If your looking to save, its not a bad option.

I came here to post about this scope.
