I am about to pull the trigger on a 300 Norma mag improved.
I'm also waiting any day for my first can an Omega 300.
I'm assuming in a perfect world I'm betting a 338 can would hold up better. Am I wrong? I hope so.
I've also learned Thunderbeast is #1 in quality and service or close to it.
However I have a few purchases to make and even though the value is there..... I don't think I can add on 2k for the 338 option from thunderbeast.

Is there a lower cost option that is still well built and up to the task of going through several barrels? No offense is meant toward Thunderbeast as i want one really bad.

Speaking from personal experience, I have 2 Thunderbeasts cans, an Omega, and 2 Dead Air cans as well, and Weiserbucks is right. You can afford it. Hell, honestly, you can’t afford NOT to go with the Thunderbeast. They are just amazing. Bottom line.

After starting this thread I was thinking even waiting however long....quality hurts just once.

Thunderbeast for the win in this application. If i had a time machine I could go back and save myself a lot of money. At the end of the day I just don't end up using the heavier less consistent can's on my bolt guns. At the time I thought I was saving money, in reality I wasn't. What has one me over on the Thunderbeast is the ability to remove it, trade it around between rifles, and have it return to zero every freaking time.
