I would try Retumbo or RL 25 if you want to push the heavier bullets to 3,000 fps out of a 26" barrel. My factory 26" tube needs a near max load of Retumbo to hit 3,000 fps with a 208 gr Amax or the 200 Nosler Accubond. I have a friend who has a 27.5" Pac-nor barrel on his 300 RUM and he is using a liberal dose of Rl 25 with the 190 smk at 3,350 fps. My favorite powder is IMR-7828 but I can't get to the 3,000 fps barrier with the 200 grain plus bullets in my barrel.
