Hey Fellas I am new to snipershide and have not posted anything before. I am currently building a custom rifle. I'm building a light weight tactical style rifle. I'm using a Manners T4 with 90% carbon fiber, Custom Defiance Machine action, Rock Creek ABS carbon fiber wrapped barrel, Seekins Bottom metal. Anyway I am wanting to get a suppressor for it and I need some advice. I do not have much experience with them so I need some advice. The gun is chambered in 300 Rem Ultra Mag. Does anyone know of a good suppressor that can handle a ultra mag. I was hoping to find one for about $1000. I am planning on having the muzzlebreak threaded so I can take it off and use a suppressor when wanted. Please give me your thoughts. Thanks

+1, the YHM will handle it, but there are other options as well, you may find more hits if you put this in the suppressor forum instead of the BArifle forum.

You may have better luck contacting the mfgrs. Barrel length plays a HUGH role in whether a muffler can handle it or not.
I've been extremly impressed with the sound reduction & tone of the SAS Arbitor when compaired to mufflers 2.5 times its price. The Arbitor is also avalible with a muzzle brake mount which acts as a blast baffle when used with the can. For the price, you can't go wrong (if it will work).

Elite Iron can take it. I have sold several of them. They are heavy and built like a brick shit house but work well and sound good.

Tactical Suppressed Weapons has a 30cal can that is tough as nails.
