Trying to create some loads for Moose hunting
Have Remington brass and loading 200 Grain accubonds with 68-69 grains of H4831sc or H1000 seems like too coarse a powder (they area slighly compressed)
68 seems Ok , but 69 seems to compress !

What powder will work that is much finer ?

Any ideas or help ?

thanks

Kyle

Kyle- a plethora (lots) of loads for the 300WM here, probably some using the components you are interested in. All rules of reloading (ie start low and work up) apply.

I'm currently using H-1000 behind a 208 amax in my 300 WM, but have had good results with H4831 and RL 22 as well.

I've tried a fair amount of load combos and I have settled on 75.5gr H4831-sc at 3050fps. It has been really consistently accurate in two different .300WM rifles for me.
