Hey guys , I wanted to ask if anyone here reloaded 220gr. matchkings? And what kind of groups your getting??? Im using a remington 700 police with a 26in and 1-10 twist . Any info would be great . I worked up a load with my 190 sierras, but I just want to go heavier .

I'm running 73.6gr of H1000 in my 300. Its shooting just under .75moa right now. My rifle has a 26" 1-11.26 twist.

I'm shooting 220gr matchkings with 71.5gr of H1000 about .005 off the lands.... that close to the lands and, it's a good load. At 1100ft above sea level at 95 degrees, I'm at about 28moa up at the 1000yd line from a 100yd zero.
Not too hard on the brass and, it's shooting just about 2775fps out of the barrel.
It's shooting about .3" 5 shot groups out of my rifle at 100yds.
I'm shooting a 26" 1:10 twist LW barrel on my rifle, if that helps.
The steel at 1000yds usually gets a stripe painted across it. The wind gets me some but, the elevation is always dead on.
It's too bad I can't find the 208s.
FWIW: I had a kick ass accuracy node on my rifle at 73.5gr of H1000 and, that was maybe better but, I was really putting the brass through hell in my own rifle. That load was coming out at 2860fps so, I backed mine off a bit but, everybody's rifle has it's own personality.

Mine is 76 gr of Retumbo in WW brass, & WLRM primers just touching the lands in a 28" 1 in 10" Kreiger. Velocity is 2780, & shoots 1/2 moa past 700 yds. I moly them tho.

Sierra's gotten rather proud of themselves lately... their 210 is 12 cents a round more than the Berger 14 more than the JLK and almost DOUBLE what the Amax costs.
If Hornady can sell an Amax, which is a more technologically challenging bullet to manufacture, for 28 cents each, why are everybody elses bullets so expensive? Especially Sierra?
The Amax's are untouchable when they're available, but until then, I'll buy JLK or Berger before I'll buy Sierra. Maybe they'll get the message:
