O.K. so I am new to the Hide and I have a build question. I am finally going to venture out and have a custom rifle built. I have decided on the Stiller Tactical 300 action (300 Win Mag) and am going to mate that to a Shillen match barrel with a Precision Armament M11 muzzle brake, and maybe have the barrel Cerakoted black (still haven't made up my mind on the stock or trigger option yet). I even knew who I was going to call to build it.... but I recently found out that Ozzie Suarez is no longer gunsmithing. Does anyone know of a very good gunsmith that would build my rifle to the standards that Ozzie would and that he has shown on that outstanding series of videos that he posted?

Ozzie has retired from customer work and in his retirement has steered customers to (amongst others) Mark Gordon of Short Action Customs and Louisiana Precision Rifles. I have a rifle from Ozzie and Mark, both are excellent.

This is partially correct. I closed my shop over a year ago, and brought my tools home for working on my own stuff. All inquiries I get from Snipers Hide go to Mark Gordon, or William Roscoe. That also includes all inquiries from my you tube channel.
I don't feel it's fair to any of the paying vendors of this sight for me to take work from them. This is where the partially parts comes in. I am however working part time as a per part employee for a local very high end guns shop that deals mostly in Long Range precision rifles, and custom pistols. It's very part time, and I no longer have to deal with all the red tape of a gun business. I won't mention their name here because they arent a vendor either. They are very new, and I'm trying to get them to become a vendor on this site. Again thanks, and send your work to those mentioned above. If you like mine, you'll love theirs. Again, thank you all.

I am very glad to see Ozzie personally reply to my post. Thank you very much Ozzie, from what I have seen on you you tube site you are amazing. Your videos are what made me decide to get a custom rifle built. I posted my question before I did my research and I must appologize for that. After I had posted I started to read through the forum and stumbled upon Mark Gordons site. I called him today and he returned my call very fast. After talking to him and reviewing his website I have decided that he is going to build my new custom rifle. I am very excited and can't wait to have it in my hands. It is going to take some time, but when it's finished I will post the pictures. Thanks to all that replied.

Same thing happen to me, Ozzie referred me to Mark and I have been extremely happy. Mark builds a freakin sweet gun, you will be more then pleased with his work.
Ozzie and Mark are good people, have no worries with either.
