300 wm??

I am starting my load development and I noticed something. I am using h1000 and 200 gr accubonds. 75 gr -77 gr fills the case up into the neck of the case. I am using compressed loads and I am not over book max at all. When a case is charged I put my finger over the top and place the charged case on my tumbler and the powder settels and moves down. Am I safe? Has any one else had this problem with h1000?

Using vibration to settle a charge is nothing new. I've seen others do it for years. I think your safe to continue.

You *might* run into pressure problems with the 200g AB and max. book loads. It's so long that when seated to max. COAL (3.34") it reduces the case capacity over, say a 200g SMK loaded to same length. I had to adjust for this when loading to mag. length with RL22.

Just watch for the normal signs as you approach max. and go slowly (allow yourself some margin for hotter ambient temperatures too.)

I gave up an AB's because they copper fouled my barrel horribly.
