A 22-24" tube probably won't make it happen though, more like a 26-28" barrel would be appropriate for that kind of speed goal.
I haven't put the 210 class through my new 24" 300 WSM yet, just the 178 Amax to ~ 2925-2950 based upon drop at 1038yd and Mr. Litz's radar verified BC's.My 26" barreled 30-06 runs the 208's in the 2825-2875 range (temp dependent) and at 1038yd it was shooting the 178's flatter than the 300 was (different powder, well developed load from a developed rifle vs. a new hunting rig). The 178's are known to exit my 30-06 at 3000 on the nose with RL22 adn 2940 with H4350.

What was your drop, and wind deflection at that range (10mph Full Value)?
