I'm turning an old 700 rem in .223 to 300 WSM. I've got the bolt completed with a claw. When I finally got some brass, I noticed it does not go through the action. Can anyone out there with a 300 wsm measure the distance on the bottom of their action and let me know what it is. I can mill mine out but I don't want to over do it.. See picture below.
